Responsibilities include engagement with the board of directors and its committees; management of finance staff; development and evolution of business processes; grant management; contract management; financial forecasting, control, and reporting. Working with a dynamic and committed team, the Director of Business Operations provides timely, transparent, and predictable support for all stakeholders, including those who rely on the data center and AICR, as well as funding agencies, vendors, MGHPCC staff, and operations.

REQUIRED: Seven years of progressive information security experience with demonstrated expertise in security architecture, risk and compliance management, security operations, incident response, working knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. NIST 800-171 / 53 moderate, CMMC or equivalent), experience with network security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools. AICR provides cutting-edge GPU and HPC computational and data resources to empower world-class AI/ML research at both regional and national levels.
MGHPCC and AICR are seeking an Information Security Manager / Security Architect to serve as the primary security leader across both organizations. This is a senior, hands-on technical role with strategic responsibility for protecting the computing infrastructure, data, and operations of MGHPCC and AICR. The position is well-suited to an experienced security practitioner who is comfortable moving between security architecture, policy, risk management, and technical implementation — without requiring a large team to operate effectively. The successful candidate will serve as the authoritative security voice for both organizations and will collaborate closely with institutional stakeholders across the consortium.

When completed, the AICR will consist of an "engine" providing computing, storage and networking wrapped by software and applications to make that engine available to researchers. You will work on the team that defines and develops the applications that wrap the engine. These applications will include end-user-facing solutions like web sites and self-service portals; operations-focused tools such as performance dashboards and; administrator-facing tools like service provisioning and reporting.
Responsible for integrating existing applications and developing new ones to support operations, and service delivery for the AICR. Participates in the full life cycle of application development, including design, coding, testing, and production support. Leads complex projects/programs that require multiple areas of expertise. Reviews and analyzes operations and provides guidance on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on processes and goals. Reviews and advises on technical design and program specifications. Writes new program code and modifies existing code. Provides technical expertise for the development and review of prototypes. Work both independently and guide work of other more junior staff as well as outsourced contractors. Reports to the Executive Director of the AI Compute Resource.
