MGHPCC AI Computing Resource (AICR)

A new collaborative compute resource at the MGHPCC that will provide advanced computing and data infrastructure for MGHPCC members, Partners and the Massachusetts AI Hub.

The MGHPCC, its Principal Member institutions, and the Massachusetts AI Hub have joined forces to establish a shared high-performance AI computing resource (AICR).

Backed by a grant from the Healey-Driscoll Administration and matching funds from the six MGHPCC universities and their partners, this initiative will expand access to critical AI infrastructure for businesses and academic institutions. The AICR environment at MGHPCC is designed to accelerate AI innovation by providing the compute and data capacity essential for cutting-edge development.

This effort also strengthens the partnership between the Commonwealth and MGHPCC’s six member universities—Boston University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, the University of Massachusetts, and Yale University—uniting them in applying AI to key sectors of the economy.
