Studying Learning at the MGHPCC

Florence Sullivan, an associate professor in the College of Education at UMass Amherst uses microgenetic analysis (an in-depth way of analyzing the behavior of a system as it evolves) to study student creativity in technologically complex learning environments. She is particularly interested in the development of creative ideas in small groups working with constructionist technologies. In this video she talks about her work, which utilized a special Girls Connect! workshop at the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC) in fall 2014.
