As part of the Massachusetts AI Hub initiative announced in December 2024, MGHPCC is soliciting RFP responses for an initial AI/ML compute resource.

Following the announcement of the Massachusetts AI Hub initiative in December 2024​, the MGHPCC Consortium has opened an AI Compute Resource (AICR) Infrastructure System RFP. The RFP covers the first of 3 tranches of funding. The tranches target a sequence of systems (ST1, ST2, and ST3) ​- that will provide foundational infrastructure for the Massachusetts AI Hub initiative, aimed to be in early operation by August 2025, January 2027, August 2028, respectively.
